The text is designed for both the Nurse Practitioner student as well as the newly practicing NP to help increase confidence with application of assessment skills, diagnostic choices and management approaches. The theory behind this text is to enable students to learn a systematic approach to clinical problems as well as apply evidence-based guidelines to direct their management decisions.
