Things to Know about Loose Leaf Textbooks

Loose Leaf textbooks can be an extremely cost effective option. They cost less than the hardcovers, but for a reason. You may have to buy a three ring binder in order to keep your pages together. The pages are also very fragile, and you will most likely end up with minor tears in your book by the end of your class. The resale value of these will also be lower, because of their low durability and quality comparable to hardcovers. You should still be able to get some sort of resale price for your books though. However, if you’re planning on keeping this in a future home library you may want to opt for the more aesthetic hardcover version.
