About the Author Jorge H. Cubillos is Professor at University of Delaware where he supervises Elementary and Intermediate Spanish instruction as well as the training of all Graduate Teaching Assistants.  A native of Colombia, he earned a Ph.D. in Spanish Applied Linguistics at The Pennsylvania State University.     He is the author of several programs for the teaching and learning of Spanish, among them Temas: Spanish for the Global Community (an input-driven introductory Spanish course), Siempre adelate (Intermediate Spanish), and Spain in Perspective: An Introduction to its History, Art and Culture.  His research interests are in the areas of technology, teacher training, and study abroad.
