Dr. Liner is the author of the book Greek Seismology, has served as editor of the journal GEOPHYSICS, and is co-inventor (with C.-F. Li) of the Spice attribute. He is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the American Geophysical Union, the European Academy of Sciences, and Sigma Xi.
