About the Author Arlyne Geschwender, CRB, GRI, LTG, has real estate experience from nearly all aspects of the profession. She brings to her textbooks her practical experience as a salesperson, a broker-owner of a real estate firm, and a developer of raw land into a unique cluster housing site. As an educator, Geschwender started the Randall School of Real Estate, which is now one of the largest real estate schools in Nebraska. She has written several courses for the Nebraska Real Estate Commission. She is a past Director of the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA); a past President of the National Women's Council of REALTORS®; and a Director of Omaha Board of REALTORS® in 1989. Arlyne is a member of the Nebraska Women's Council of REALTORS® and has served as an instructor for the National Women's Council of REALTORS®. Arlyne has received several professional awards, including Educator of the Year for the Nebraska REALTORS® Association (1986), REALTOR® of the year Omaha Board of REALTORS®, and REALTOR® distinguished service award from the Omaha Board of REALTORS®.
